Financial Systems Project ConsultantAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading government contractor and they are seeking a Financial Systems Project Consultant. Salary: $120-125k Some highlights: --- Very stable company --- Working remotely until April 2021 --- Telework possibilities post-COVID --- Opportunities for growth advancement --- Opportunities to move into different departments --- Ability to work closely with Senior/Executive Leadership --- Competitive benefits Responsibilities of the Financial Systems Project Consultant --- This position will work on the Business Transformation Office Team led by the Chief Business Officer --- Manage the ERP system upgrades and modernization initiatives --- Work closely with the Information Technology Accounting departments --- Manage Project Management documentation (status reports, Gantt charts, RAID logs, project plans, etc.) --- Document test cases and track progress in automated testing tool --- Handle user acceptance training for upgrades and initiatives --- Lead project meetings and document all status reporting --- Handle accounting year-end rollforward activities Preferred Experience for the Financial Systems Project Consultant --- Bachelor's degree --- 5+ years of accounting financial systems upgrade/modernization experience --- Deltek Costpoint experience preferred --- Government contracting experience a plus
