teams. As an entry-level/early career DevOps Engineer supporting a
team located in Dulles, VA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of
paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day
one. This role is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute

Responsibilities In this role you will: - Automate cloud native
technologies, deploy applications, and provision critical
infrastructure - Work with microservices and distributed
application architecture, containers, orchestration, and serverless
technologies - Work within a cloud ecosystem to configure and
deploy optimized infrastructure - Ensure monitoring and health of
the resources deployed via enterprise management solutions -
Document procedures used during deployment cycles - Work with the
fellow DevOps team members, cross-train, and grow your technical
talent across the DevOps team and assist in troubleshooting tasks -
Implement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code that
adheres to industry best practices To be successful in this role
you should have experience in the following: - Ability to thrive in
a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times and shifting
priorities - Proven troubleshooting skills and willingness to take
on unfamiliar challenges - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using
products like Terraform, Python, & Ansible - Linux tools/automation
and shell scripting, as well as Windows PowerShell - Cloud
ecosystem products across various vendor platforms - Docker
containerization, Kubernetes (K8s) is a must - Experience with
continuous integration/deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
is a must - Creating, executing, and troubleshooting complex,
automated processes used to configure servers and deploy code This

requisition may be filled at either a level 1 (Associate) or a
level 2, depending on the candidate’s experience as laid out in the
basic qualifications detailed below as well as the interview
assessment. - Requires an active/current U.S. Government DoD
Top-Secret (TS) security clearance at time of application, current
and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive
Compartmented Information (SCI) approval/access within a reasonable
period of time [US citizenship required] - Level 1: (associate
level) - Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience - May
consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a completed
degree - 1 year(s) of DevOps or software development experience -
Level 2: - Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience -
May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a
completed degree - 2 year(s) of DevOps or software development
experience Preferred Qualifications: - Current/Active TS with SCI -
1 year(s) in a technical leadership role managing technical
objectives and JIRA metrics reporting - Current Security, CISSP, or
other certification that meets DoD 8140 IAT Level II or Level III

Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $76,200.00 - $114,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
