Locums - Mechanicsville, Virginia, Hematology/Oncology Opening

Location: Mechanicsville, Virginia

Coverage Dates

• ASAP - Ongoing

Reason for Coverage

• Open physician position

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No call
• No weekend coverage

Practice Setting

• Inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Trauma Level III facility

Clinical Focus

• 70% Oncology
• 30% Hematology
• No Internal Medicine responsibilities

Patient Volume

• Outpatient Clinic: 12-25 patients per day
• Inpatient Rounding: 2-8 patients per day

Support Staff

• One physician currently in the practice
• No APP support

EMR

• Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified Medical Oncology required
• Board Certified Hematology highly preferred
• Active Virginia license required
• BLS required
