Job Opportunity: Locum Medical Oncologist

Join a dynamic team at a premier healthcare facility, located in beautiful Richmond, Virginia. This facility prides itself on providing high-quality cancer care through the Bon Secours Cancer Institute at St. Mary s Hospital. The practice is seeking a dedicated Locum Medical Oncologist to support their team primarily in an inpatient setting, with occasional outpatient coverage. The facility offers a collaborative environment with a focus on patient care, research studies, and professional development.

• Provide oversight of a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Enroll patients in research studies to advance oncology care.
• Manage call coverage responsibilities.
• Deliver care to an average of 12-15 patients per day in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians within the practice.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and electronic medical records.

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology - REQUIRED
• Active Virginia Medical License - REQUIRED
• Current BLS certification - REQUIRED
• Clean background check with NPDB submission - REQUIRED
• Self-Query NPDB report obtained within 30 days prior to presentation - REQUIRED

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.
• Active license to practice in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
