Physician Assistant | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Lebanon, PA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide locum coverage in a cardiac surgery hospital setting. This role primarily involves weekend coverage, supporting urgent cardiac surgeries, patient rounding, and post-operative care. You will work closely with attending surgeons for backup and support a dynamic inpatient population. Practice Highlights: Hospital size: 163 beds Patient population: adults (18) EMR system: EPIC Department focus: urgent cardiac surgery, ICU to home transitions, vein harvesting procedures Coverage: 3 weekends per month, 24-hour call (Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM) Average callback: 4 hours per day Requirements Certified PA or NP Valid PA license DEA registration required Acute care certification NOT required Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temporary coverage available with a clean file) Benefits Competitive daily compensation for weekend coverage Exposure to cardiac surgery procedures, including vein harvesting Work in a supportive hospital team environment Hands-on experience in urgent cardiac care and ICU transitions Flexible locum scheduling with weekend focus
