opportunity. The Advanced Practice Provider role involves the
proficient management and coordination of patient care within their
assigned population. Universal Health is committed to providing

Medical Director to ensure our Nurse Practitioners are

enjoyable atmosphere. Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinate and
deliver exceptional and appropriate patient care. Communicate
effectively with nursing staff, collaborating physicians, and the
Director of Nursing (DON) regarding patient care. Conduct patient
rounds, contribute to daily care decisions, write orders, and
facilitate scheduling of therapeutic and diagnostic tests and
procedures. Record daily visit notes in an electronic medical
record in a timely manner, with dictation services available.
Maintain accurate records related to professional services,
including attending to billing reports, claims, and correspondence.
Provide services as requested by UHC or as required by bylaws,
policies, rules, or regulations of UHC or any affiliated healthcare
facility. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide empathy and
compassion. Self-motivated, flexible, and a collaborative team
player. Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Prioritization
skills with the ability to delegate tasks when appropriate.
Education and Experience: One year of relevant experience
preferred. New graduates are still encouraged to apply! Nursing
experience in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, Emergency
Medicine, Hospitalist, or General Practice preferred. Current
Medical License in State in which you are applying, and
unencumbered DEA License required. License/Certification: Nurse
Practitioner License (Required) DEA Certification (Required)
