Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse –
Washington Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Washington,
District of Columbia Compensation: Details provided to qualified
applicants Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, night shift Highlights:
Fast-paced Emergency Department treating a diverse patient
population including trauma, critical care, pediatric, psychiatric,
and urgent care patients Bedside trauma RN role with 1:5
nurse-to-patient ratios Critical care skills utilized including
medication titrations, arterial line management, mass transfusion
protocols, and chest tube care Cerner EMR system in use Must reside
at least 50 miles from the facility location Opportunity to work in
a comprehensive emergency care setting with varied case mix and
acuity levels Requirements: Current Registered Nurse license in
Washington, DC (or eligible for licensure) Graduate of an
accredited or NLN-approved RN program Minimum 3 years of Emergency
Department experience required NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS
certifications required Cerner EMR experience required BSN highly
desired Must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as
bedside trauma RN Must be comfortable managing 1:5 patient ratios
