Job Description:

Customer Support Manager - Mining Sales and Operations
Reporting to the Mining Business Manager, the Customer Support Manager will join our Mining Sales and Operations team on a full-time basis at our Guildford Branch. This role involves executing the aftermarket sales strategy for the designated customer group, aiming to maximize sales and service growth.
Roster: Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours/day (including meal break)
What You'll Do:

  • Identify and influence sales opportunities with customers.
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for your customer group.
  • Manage fleet performance and improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Prepare and deliver proposals.
  • Handle commercial negotiations for aftermarket services.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage inventory using internal systems.
  • Utilize data to manage sales opportunities.
  • Participate in projects to improve site performance.
  • Provide product support and address product issues.
  • Manage warranty processes for the customer base.
  • Support team members during leave periods.
  • Assist in managing Parts and Service budgets for the customer base.

    Skills & Experience:

  • Trade qualification or strong understanding of mining machinery components.
  • Knowledge of Heavy Mining Equipment 'Total Cost of Ownership' modelling.
  • Proven skills in communication, relationship development, and negotiation, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage fluctuating workloads and meet deadlines.
