Job Description:
Celigo is the modern integration platform as a service (iPaaS)
that simplifies how companies integrate, automate, and optimize
processes. The platform has been ranked 1 in iPaaS user feedback by
G2 for five quarters in a row. Purpose-built for mission-critical
processes, Celigo offers unique tools such as runtime AI and
prebuilt integrations tailored to resolve the biggest integration
challenges, making Celigo incomparably easier to maintain. We are
seeking a Sr. Director of Business Development to define and
execute Celigo’s alliances strategy, with a focus on ISV and
strategic SaaS partnerships that drive measurable growth. Reporting
to the Chief Strategy Officer, this leader will play a pivotal role
in expanding Celigo’s influence within the ecosystem, increasing
sourced and influenced pipeline, and laying the foundation for
long-term partnerships that can transform the business. Initially,
the Sr. Director will focus on triaging existing relationships,
developing a strategic plan for growth, and executing directly.
Once the strategy is established, they will have the opportunity to
build and scale a high-performing Business Development
organization. What would you do, if hired? • Alliance Strategy &
Execution: Define Celigo’s ISV and SaaS partner strategy, focusing
on alliances that create tangible revenue impact and long-term
strategic value. • Pipeline Growth: Drive measurable pipeline
influence and sourcing through co-sell motions, joint GTM programs,
and strategic partnerships. • Strategic Partnerships: Balance
near-term, revenue-driving initiatives with longer-term strategic
bets that can redefine Celigo’s growth trajectory. Experience
building scaled, revenue-generating engagements with major
ecosystem partners (e.g., AWS or equivalent) is a strong plus. •
Partner Management: Own and expand key relationships with ISVs,
OEMs, and industry-specific SaaS players, driving mutual value
creation. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate deeply with
Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to develop joint
value propositions, programs, and GTM motions. • Independent
Ownership: Operate with an “owner’s mindset,” taking full
accountability for strategy and execution while fostering a
collaborative, coalition-building culture across Celigo. • Scaling
the Function: Build the frameworks, processes, and playbooks for
partner engagement and growth, scaling from a scrappy starting
point into a repeatable model. Who are we looking for? Skills &
Abilities • Exceptional ability to make sound decisions with
incomplete information, balancing speed with judgment and adapting
direction as new insights emerge. • Operates autonomously with an
ownership mindset, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a
bias toward action. • Collaborative and persuasive, skilled at
influencing cross-functional stakeholders and building coalitions
across all levels. • Excellent communication and executive
presence, capable of representing Celigo credibly in senior-level
partner discussions. Education & Experience • 10 years in Business
Development, Alliances, or Strategic Partnerships within B2B SaaS
organizations. • Proven track record of creating and scaling
revenue-generating engagements — whether through ISV partnerships,
OEM agreements, or strategic co-sell programs. • Experience in
later-stage startups ($50M–$250M ARR) with demonstrated success
scaling BD or alliances from early foundations. • Strong record of
driving sourced and influenced pipeline through partner ecosystems.
• Deep commercial acumen, with comfort structuring joint GTM
initiatives, partner economics, and co-sell motions. • Experience
with OEM partnerships or exposure to eCommerce ecosystems is a
strong plus. Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between
$230,000 and $250,000 per year for this position. Actual starting
base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic
location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
