THIS POSITION IS BASED IN THE SOUTHEAST US.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is typically the first person a potential prospect at Casebook will interact with as part of the sales process. SDRs help customers understand the value of Casebook and creating a great first impression. Daily activities will center around making outreach to new (cold) prospects and follow-ups with marketing-generated leads. Once the SDR has determined Casebook is a good fit for the prospective customer, the SDR will transition them to the appropriate Software Account Executive.

This role will cover GA, FL, TN, KY, WV, VA, NC, SC, DC, MD, IL, MO, TX, LA, AR, MS, AL and will be focused on SMB non-profit and state & local government accounts.

Responsibilities
Provide a world-class experience for Casebook's prospective customers
Identify and make outreach to organizations that meet Casebook's ideal customer profile
Design and execute a prospecting plan that supports the regional Account Executive's territory plan and company revenue goals
Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns, conferences, and word-of-mouth.
Schedule demonstrations for qualified leads, create new records in the CRM, including detailed discovery (qualification) notes to assist in the sales cycle.
Occasional work travel (10% for company-wide events, conferences, team meetings)
Collaborate with all teams (marketing, pre-sales, product, customer success) to maximize lead generation potential
Meet challenging, achievable weekly goals and targets.

Salary plus incentivized commission for meeting assigned quotas.

Qualifications There are two potential hiring levels for this position:
SDR I: College degree or equivalent professional work experience. At least one year of full-time experience working with the general public by phone or in-person,
SDR II: College degree or equivalent professional work experience. At least one year of experience as a SDR or in software sales or two years working in a human services/social services role.
Comfortable talking with new people on the phone and by email
MUST have access to a connection fast enough for video and VoIP calls - anything less than 25mb can be challenging
Access to a workspace free of distractions during prospect calls and demos
Excellent listening skills
Ability to travel occasionally (10%) post-COVID
Experience with automated outbound sales tools (HubSpot & Outreach, a plus)
Fluent in spoken and written English
Team player, coachable, willingness to learn
Organized with strong time management skills
Legally allowed to work in the US
