Job Description:

Amyx is seeking to hire a Strategic Analyst / Coordinator (Governance, Oversight) to support a large DoD contract in Crystal City, VA. This position will fall under the Threat Technologies (TT) Department within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research and Development (RD) Directorate (supported by the Mission Support Services (MSS) contract). Amyx supports the RD-TT mission by providing subject matter expertise on a multitude of cross-cutting support functions and activities to assist the Government in providing physical infrastructure security, logistics, financial and budgeting, contract management and acquisition support, public affairs and event planning, and executive leadership assistance. Responsibilities ? Performs program management, technical, or business case analyses as direct liaisons to tenet lanes (e.g., Detect Air, Defeat, Threat Technologies) as well as other areas such as Sensitive Activities, Special Access Programs, Alternate or Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM). ? Analyzes program requirements, status, budget and schedules. ? Strong analytical, correspondence writing, and oral communication skills, with customer-service orientation and the ability to build and sustain productive working relationships. ? Collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information, reviews documents and reports for omissions and inconsistencies, senior-level staffing/coordination procedures. ? Update leadership on status of rapid acquisition management & oversight task actions and deliverables; set up and coordinate all rapid acquisition management policy and process key leader engagements, meetings and VTCs (to include JWICS) with senior leadership and stakeholders from DTRA, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff and the interagency; conduct literature and reference material searches in support of acquisition policy; organization, management and archiving of all oversight board deliverables for audit trail purposes; assist in the development and preparation of letters, memoranda, senior correspondence and technical documentation such as working/meeting notes, acquisition voting records documenting decisions, all DOD correspondence, and monthly progress reports; track preparation and processing of Oversight board deliverables; assist in the preparation of executive briefings, presentations, and spreadsheets; and the collection, organization, maintenance and low level analysis of cost, performance, and schedule related data. ? Review preparation of program related documentation; Draft briefing materials/correspondence for organizational, DOD or Congressional leadership; identify, integrate and utilize automated correspondence/task management tools as directed (e.g., Action Tracker/Core Process Database (CPD); DTRA Task Management Tool, JWICS system tools as required). Supported Technologies: * Microsoft Office applications suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Qualifications ? Bachelor's Degree in related field
? Strong analytical, correspondence writing, and oral communication skills, with customer-service orientation and the ability to build and sustain productive working relationships, translate highly technical information into executive level communications
? Top Secret / SCI clearance eligibility
? 5-7 years of experience required in DOD program/project management, or business / technical case analysis (5+ years) Desired Skills and Qualifications: ? Project Management and / or Analysis experience, or Program Management Professional (PMP) w/5+ years work experience, if PMP certification experience working within DODI 5000.02 and JCIDs frameworks ? Must be able to interact with Senior Leadership (O6+ GO/FO/SES personnel) to include briefing across the department primarily the Joint Staff.
? Knowledge of Joint Staff/OSD processes and policies for staffing and coordination
? Masters Degree related field
