Position: System Analyst II
Location: Washington, DC (Potential for Hybrid)
Clearance: Public Trust
Must hold an active Public Trust clearance to apply
THE OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Working in close cooperation with business customers and IT teams, the IT systems analyst applies advanced analytical and business skills to evaluate existing systems and identify new or enhanced systems, products, and processes to advance business objectives.
SCOPE OF WORK
The position's scope of work includes:

• Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of business processes supported by software systems/products.
  
• Documents business requirements and processes; develops training programs, documents, and materials.
  
• Analyzes and documents "as-is" and "to-be" scenarios, including processes, models, use cases, plans, and solutions.
  
• Leads requirements reviews, design reviews, and change control activities.
  
• Defines and implements standards, methods, and procedures for requirements and testing activities.
  
• Works as part of a Scrum Team and participates in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  

• 
  
• 6-8 years of experience with increasingly complex system analysis projects.
  
• 4-6 years of experience developing user stories based on business and system requirements.
  
• 4-6 years of experience defining and elaborating user stories with validation and acceptance criteria.
  
• 6-8 years of experience with requirements gathering techniques and methodologies (UML, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, JAD sessions).
  
• 4-6 years of experience with Scrum and/or other Agile frameworks.
  
  Desired Experience:
  
  • 
    
  • Experience with automated requirements engineering and testing tools.
    
  • RDBMS experience (MS SQL Server and/or Oracle) with SQL query writing skills.
    
  • Experience with Project Management Software.
    
  • Experience with Software Development.
