Greystones is seeking a Data Analyst to support a modernization program with the Navy. The overall goal of the program is to develop an agile, flexible, and responsive workforce focused on being a proficiency-based learning organization with a solid foundation of shipyard departmental expertise and innovative technical, business, and interpersonal approaches. This role will entail collecting, organizing, and analyzing large and complex data sets efficiently and effectively. You will be providing recommendations to upper management and external stakeholders in reports, presentations, and decision-making meetings.
The role will be hybrid reporting to DC Navy Yard.

  Main Duties/Tasks:
  
  • 
    
  • Manage large projects or processes from initiation to deployment.
    
  • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals.
    
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information and process information, presenting findings to internal teams and external clients and stakeholders.
    
  • Craft presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
    
  • Support cross-functional business partners with analytical insights and problem solving.
    
    Requirements
    Required Experience:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's Degree in the field or in a related area.
      
    • 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
      
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large and complex data sets efficiently and effectively.
      
    • Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders and making recommendations based on data analytics.
      
    • Experience with Microsoft software use including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including use of pivot tables).
      
    • Familiarity with Navy IT systems preferred.
      
    • Familiarity with DoD Enterprise IT systems and modernization/acquisition process preferred.
      
    • Fluent, clear, and articulate in verbal communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm.
      
      Required Clearance: Active secret clearance required.
