Position Details:
Title: Electrical and Instrument/Controls Technician
Location: Fairfax, VA
Shift: M-F days with rotating on-call for evenings and weekends except during outages.
Compensation: $38-$45/hr

Position Description: The company is looking for a dedicated Electrical and Instrumentation Technician who is a skilled, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual with responsibilities that may include but are not limited to installation, troubleshooting, cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and distributive control (DCS) equipment throughout the facility safely and professionally.

Requirements:
--- This individual must be able to respond and report to work during off hours when emergency repairs are needed; as well as work overtime, and on call for rotating shifts as needed.
--- This individual will have a strong electrical background, including experience in instrument calibration, PLC, and DCS programming/troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley SLC-500 and Control Logix).
--- This individual must also possess the skills for the maintenance, repair, and operation of field controllers, instrumentation, motor control centers, and other power plant electrical equipment ranging from 24 VDC to 13.8kV.
