This role will focus on overseeing the day to day operations of P-8 support equipment maintenance while successfully managing, developing, and motivating a large team of maintenance professionals.This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington. - Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage support equipment maintenance personnel performing scheduled and unscheduled support equipment maintenance for the P-8 Poseidon aircraft.
  • Ability to integrate and prioritize the requirements of multiple, external and internal stakeholders to ensure successful performance across the contractual statement of work. -
  • Must be able to develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guide the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives concurrently with holding direct reports, peers and partners accountable for achieving goals.
  • Acquire the necessary resources for department activities, provide technical management and lead process improvements
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes concurrent establishing and sustaining a strong safety and quality culture and adherence to customer delivery schedules. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • 3+ years of experience developing and/or maintaining integrated schedules
    • 3+ years of experience with Field Service and/or Military Aircraft Support Equipment
    • 1+ years of experience with technical project management
    • 1+ years of experience in leading or managing a cross-functional team
    • A ble to travel domestically and/or internationally on short notice Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • E xperience with --- 4790.2 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
      • The ability to interact with senior military and company officials
      • Experience with U.S. Navy maintenance practices and experience partnering with government customers to deliver services and products.
      • Extensive knowledge of USN aviation support equipment maintenance and quality process and procedures.
      • Proven ability to communicate effectively in verbal and in written form
      • Familiarity with military supply systems and military maintenance practices and procedures This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
