Job Description:

MDW Associates is currently seeking a Mid-Level Technical Security and Foreign Disclosure Analyst to join our OSD (R&E) client in Washington, DC. Assists in the functions of personnel security (PERSEC), physical security (PHYSEC), continuity of operations (COOP), information security/operations security (INFOSEC/OPSEC), industrial security (INDSEC), and general security administration (customer support). Provide general security function (customer support), such as, processing CAC and building access applications; access control requests; country and threat briefs; in/out processing of R&E personnel (civilian, military, IPA/Detail and contractor); indoctrinations/debriefings, security record management; courier card application processing; computer/network account access requests; and visit authorization requests.

• In accordance with DoD 5200.02 and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704, accomplish PERSEC duties including but not limited to: running queries of the the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)database for clearance information, pass clearances, provide SCI indoctrination assistance, and update JPAS records as necessary; providing guidance to R&E personnel as required concerning clearance information.
  
• In accordance with DoDD 5200.08, DoDD 5200.01, DoD 5105.02, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, accomplish PHYSEC duties including but not limited to: processing and accreditation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF); certification of Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA), Top Secret Closed Storage areas (TSCS), Open Storage Secret areas (OSS), and Closed Storage Secret (CSS) areas. Assist with changes to combinations for GSA locks and containers and maintenance of Key Control Logs, assist with the adding and removing of GSA -approved containers. Respond to and provide solutions for any issues with locks and alarm systems in R&E spaces.
  
• In accordance with DoD 5200.01 (DoD Information Security Program) and DoD 5205.02 (DoD Operations Security Program), accomplish INFOSEC/OPSEC duties including but not limited to: providing guidance to R&E personnel on Classification and Declassification as necessary; compiling annual reports (e.g., ISOO Standard Form 311 Report); and conduct Original Classification Authority/Derivative Classification training.
  
• In accordance with DoDD 3020.26, DoDD 3020.44 and DoDI 3020.42, accomplished COOP duties including but not limited to: assisting in the development of Mission Essential Functions, COOP plans, and COOPR exercise planning; maintaining R&E Critical Access List and GSAF Entry Authorization List; development and maintenance of R&E "deployed" staff schedules.
  
• In accordance with DoDI 5220.22 and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), accomplish INDSEC duties including but not limited to: providing guidance and reviews of DD 254 forms to R&E COR personnel; editing and reviewing forms for accuracy, processing through final approval chains; and maintaining files for all unclassified/classified contracts.
  
• These positions in support of JWICS Hoteling are responsible for ensuring coverage between the hours of 0630 and 2000
  
  Experience:
  Must have five (5) years of total experience in an international related field.
  Experience and mastery of the Microsoft Office suite of applications is required.
  Education:
  Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in international relations, communications, or political science. At the discretion of the Government, a minimum of four (4) years of specialized experience which includes military experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements, in addition to the minimum experience listed above.
  Clearance Required: Top Secret, ability to obtain and maintain SCI. Contractors with a ICD704 eligibility within the last five (5) years are highly desired. Contractors proposed that have not had an SCI clearance may take more than a year to be cleared. Minimum of a Secret clearance required for all positions not designated as TS/SCI
