Who are you?
You are a Cybersecurity Business Policy Analyst who is capable of collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data findings and research on various technical and non-technical topic areas specific to cybersecurity in alignment with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cyber Mission space. You have experience within any cyber discipline, and have a general understandings of governmental policies, executive orders, and familiarity with industry standards and framework. If you are an individual who takes initiative, is a self-starter, and are motivated to leverage prior experience to shape the supported client, we encourage you to apply! This is mostly a remote position with 1 day a week or less in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Ability to independently conduct cybersecurity research and interpret applicability to DHS Cyber-Physical Operations Division
  
• Ability to provide analyses and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
  
• Understanding of cyberspace, the emerging threat landscape, industry movements, and the applicability across DHS mission spaces
  
  You'll arrive equipped with:
  
  • 
    
  • Six (6) years of experience in leading the conduct of requirements defining activities and formal documentation
    
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
    
  • Ability to propose and assess capabilities of alternative solutions to meet program needs
    
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently ---
    
  • Ability to effectively manage several projects at one time
    
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
    
  • Bachelor's degree. Discipline in business, information technology, organizational assessment or other closely related field is preferred.
    
  • U.S. citizenship (the nature of our work with the federal government limits our hiring to U.S. citizens).
