Job Description:
Resp & Qualifications PURPOSE:Oversees various procurement
functions by coordinating with various teams and ensuring on time
completion of procurement process. Provides financial support to
the business, including but not limited to cost analysis, risk
coordination, updating procurement forecast by coordinating with
business team. Interfaces regularly with project managers, account
managers, procurement and sourcing team, finance managers and
business area directors. Supports large and/or complex procurements
of HW/SW and professional services budget.Plans, organizes, and
manages large scale or complex procurements for projects to ensure
successful delivery of objectives, on time and within budget.
Initiates, engages, and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver
results. Identifies and mitigates risk and escalates as needed.
Tracks progress and drives documentation to support project
procurement needs. Ensures end to end leadership for procurement
processes related to implementations, integration, business
readiness and communications.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates with business owners and finance team to gather and
finalize yearly budget for HW/SW.
- Create/ refine procurement pipeline for Baseline and SOW
related projects.
- Consistently working with business team to validate upcoming
procurements to ensure accuracy of completion date.
- Coordinate with procurement and financial analysts to map
budget with various procurement requests.
- Coordinate with business owners to understand the need of new
products and initiate sourcing requests to engage sourcing
team.
- Coordinate with procurement and sourcing team to track and
initiate approaching renewals.
- Facilitate meetings with business owner and sourcing team to
kick off upcoming procurements
- Create business justification documents for senior leadership
to provide visibility on procurements
- Plans and produces various procurement reports. Analyzes
trends, calculates, and verifies data. Interfaces with other areas
to develop reporting specifications, methods, and procedures, and
prioritizes requests.
- Responds to special/ Ad-hoc analysis request by leadership
team. Communicate with corporate management on financial processes
and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare procurement related financial data for presentation to
senior leadership team.
- Plans, coordinates, reviews, and analyzes budget with business
owners.
- Gathers, compiles, and interprets information collected through
financial analyses to identify trends and provide insight for
decision making.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:Leads a team utilizing a
matrix management system.QUALIFICATIONS:Education Level: Bachelor's
Degree inProject Management, Business or related field OR in lieu
of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work
experience is required in addition to the required work
experience.Experience: 5 years as a project manager or experience
as a team lead managing large budgetsPreferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum projects, methods, and
principles.
- Must have a good understanding of IT infrastructure, financial
and accounting rules for developing financial/procurement reports.
- Hardware, SW, storage, network, data Centers and
Mainframe.
- Enterprise, and perpetual license
- Cloud accounting experience

- MS Excel (complex queries and formulas)Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge offinancial analysis and reporting data using
financial rules.
