Required:Public TrustWhat You Will Do: Guidehouse is looking to
bring in a senior level solutions/technology architect to help with
business development including leading pursuits, responding to
RFPs, collaborating with internal experts to build technical
solutions, and build the team to deliver on the projects. Ideally,
you should have some FDIC knowledge or background, but at a
minimum, should have similar Federal experience. Responsibilities
include support across the entire IT application lifecycle
including creation (requirements, design, development, testing,
deployment), configuration, integration, migration, enhancement,
support, maintenance, operations, decommissioning, and other
associated services for all FDIC owned applications.
Responsibilities: --- The Solution Architect manages a team
developing high level frameworks that align an organization's IT
infrastructure with business processes/data to improve the
efficiency and productivity of business operations --- The person
in this role will be responsible for envisioning and developing new
digital products --- The person will execute day-to-day product
development activities across design, development, stakeholder
communication, technology vendor management and delivery ---
Collaborating with product development teams to provide a
high-level vision of enterprise solutions and development
initiatives --- Understanding and communicating the Enterprise
strategy to Application, Data and Solution Architects along with
other non-technical stakeholders --- Collecting, generating, and
analyzing innovative ideas and technologies to use across the
business --- Prepares large enterprise system development cost
estimates, budgets, and schedules --- Participating in the strategy
for building and maintaining the development platform along with
modeling, design, and coding practices --- Monitors architecture &
design creation process and reviews the project artifacts ---
Promoting Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment processes
and DevOps capabilities --- Evaluate results within business unit
to determine if organizational objectives are being met ---
Supervision typically consists of periodic coaching, advice, and
feedback What You Will Need: --- A Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Business Administration, or related discipline, or
equivalent work experience --- Including developing cloud-ready
solutions --- 1+ years of experience in planning, analyzing,
designing, architecting & supporting Financial Services products
and solutions --- 1+ years of experience within a Senior
Architecture role within large Scaled Agile program --- Familiarity
with one or more programming languages (C#, Python); One or more
databases (SQL, NoSQL), Web front end technologies (Angular,
ReactJS etc.), .NET Application frameworks, Business Intelligence
solutions (Power BI), Enterprise integration patterns (MOM, SOA
etc.), Machine learning & AI, Big Data analytics, Azure cloud
provider, Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) ---
Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF is
preferred) --- Broad based platform and technical exposure and
complete software development lifecycle perspective --- Good
presentation & communication skills: ability to translate and
clearly formulate technical issues --- Strong project and team
management skills --- Advanced knowledge of high
availability/fault-tolerant systems design and transparent
application fail-over, advanced knowledge of relational and spatial
database design, logical and physical system architecture, and
object-oriented analysis and design --- Advanced knowledge of
replication, backup, and disaster recovery design; knowledge of IT
governance and operations --- Advanced knowledge of SOA concepts
and related frameworks; advanced knowledge of system sizing,
capacity planning and performance tuning, and storage and area
network architecture --- Advanced understanding of technology
infrastructure and server topology; comprehensive knowledge of
hardware, software, application, and systems engineering --- Work
is non-standardized and widely varied, involving many complex and
significant variables including significant time spent planning,
evaluating complex solutions and issues, and negotiating outcomes
--- Strong analytic ability and inductive thinking are frequently
required to devise new approaches to situations where previously
accepted solutions have proven inadequate --- Must be legally
authorized to work in the United States without the need for
employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future What Would
