Description: - HVAC Project Manager (Remote + Commission) Actalent's client is a well established national heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) company which is comprised of 90 separate local operating companies throughout the United States. Their focus at is to provide HVAC construction, service, and maintenance primarily for commercial and institutional buildings. We are looking for a Project Manager experienced in seeing a project through from start to finish. The ideal candidate shall possess the knowledge and expertise to initiate and maintain a flow of work for our field and shop personnel by providing expertise in the areas of estimating, project management and value engineering.--- Build or maintain relationships with customers by revealing and demonstrating the unique capabilities our company and staff.--- Work closely with our estimating staff to ensure accurate-true cost estimates on a wide array of HVAC projects.--- Review contract scope of work and pricing to ensure compliance with negotiated or specified aspects of the project.--- Engage equipment vendors and subcontractors and submit all appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with all contract documents.--- Review all aspects of the project to ensure contract scopes of work are fully completed.--- Work with staff to provide all as-built information as well as ensure that warranty information is correct and distributed to all stakeholders.Additional Skills & Qualifications:--- Skilled in many or all tasks mentioned above as related to commercial and institutional HVAC construction.--- Excellent typing and computer skills and familiarity with MS office suite as a minimum. --- Special consideration given to applicants with experience with Autocad or similar products.--- Special consideration given to applicants possessing bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, engineering or business disciplines.--- Special consideration given to applicants possessing LEED AP or other related certifications.
