Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities Analyzes business objectives and
develops solutions to solve business issues. Analyzes and defines
business processes to recommend improvements and resolve potential
gaps. Identifies, analyzes, and documents business requirements and
delivers work products throughout the project life cycle. Analyzes
the entire business, including data, goals, process, and
organization and assists in developing strategic goals. Uses
process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and
internet-related methodologies and principles to conduct process
modernization projects. Responsible for transitioning of existing
organizations or project teams in accomplishing the organization's
goals or project activities and objectives through improved use of
internet and other automated processes. Supports activity and data
modeling, development of modern business methods, identification of
best practices, and creating and assessing performance
measurements. Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training
and additional forms of knowledge transfer. Key coordinator between
customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide
integration of reengineering efforts and application of best
practice including e-business practices experience. -Description of
Duties:Use Galorath's full range of products and services to help
our customers solve their challenges. - - Compile and analyze life
cycle costs, benefits, risks, programmatic information, technical
performance, schedule, safety assessments, environmental impacts,
spectrum support and operational suitability of candidate
solutions.Analyze and evaluate program, project and system
alternatives.Use Net Present Value (NPV), Return On Investment
(ROI), and payback period to evaluate the business case and
economic analyses of proposed investments.Assemble independent
documentation regarding business case evaluations.Interact
collaboratively with system engineers, and other stakeholders to
enhance IP&A understanding of systems engineering
issues.Perform schedule analyses to support business
case/benefits/cost analyses.Support investment analysis checkpoint
reviews and the peer review process as directed. Support activities
may include facilitation, data analysis, verification,
documentation, and coordination of checkpoint peer reviews and
developing and maintaining an action item and disposition
database.Facilitate the coordination and integration of all
investment decision information for presentationParticipate in and
prepare analyses and briefings that support decision meetings and
other acquisition review activities.Review cost estimate models and
related submissions from the program offices and evaluate for
accuracy, completion, compliance with applicable guidance, relevant
source documentation, and clear cost methodology. Submit comments
and feedback as necessary.Qualifications and Education
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in accounting, business management,
computer science, economics, finance, information systems,
information technology, mathematics, statistics, operations
research or business administration2 to 10 years experience.Ability
to analyze and document business processes and requirements and to
effectively communicate concepts and proposed solutions.5 years of
relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
Master's Degree or MBA in related field may be substituted for
Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience. PhD in related field may
be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 7 years
experiencePreferred SkillsExperience with the Federal Aviation
