Headquartered in downtown, Washington, DC, the American Immigration
Lawyers Association (AILA) is an organization with over 16,000
individual attorney members who practice and teach immigration law.
For our members, we provide continuing legal education,
information, advocacy, professional services, and expertise.
Founded in 1946, AILA's mission is to promote justice, advocate for
fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality
of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the
professional development of its members.
The Marketing and Member Experience Department plays a vital role
in developing and promoting the products, services, and member
experiences that are at the core of the value and mission of the
American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). The department's
goal is to identify, analyze, and understand member needs, and to
use these critical insights to define, communicate, and deliver a
premier member experience. The department supports the organization
by developing and leading the strategic direction and delivery of a
comprehensive brand and marketing strategy, by providing the
insights needed to inform the prioritization of critical resources,
and by identifying new opportunities to sustain the organization's
growth.
Your Role
The Marketing Analyst position is key to AILA's overall marketing
efforts as a member of the Marketing and Member Experience
Department responsible for delivering data-driven results and
facilitating strategic and tactical marketing decisions across all
touchpoints and channels. Leveraging a range of data mining and
trend analyses, the analyst will work under the Demand Generation
Manager to analyze AILA's member database and marketing databases?-
working with staff to translate marketing questions into data
queries and providing actionable marketing insight based on data
for AILA. We are searching for a person with experience in data
analysis, marketing, project management, SQL, and various marketing
platforms such as HubSpot and Google Analytics. Familiarity with
modeling software is a plus. We are looking for someone with a
marketing-solutions mindset - a person driven by curiosity and the
desire and ability to innovate. This position will assume an
important role as the organization's champion for the power of
information in propelling our mission.
Essential Job Functions include:
Data Mining, Reporting, Insights, and Analysis
Conceptualizes and performs fact-based analysis to drive marketing
results and increase Member Lifetime Value (LTV)
Trend Modeling, Concept, Development, and Execution
Your Colleagues
Your Background and Experience
3+ years of relevant business experience in Marketing or
Quantitative Analysis. 2+ Years of experience with SQL preferred.
Experience with Google Analytics and marketing platforms such as
HubSpot, Salesforce, etc. Experience with visualization software
such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
