What does a great Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst do? The
Cyber Threat Analyst position is a technical role within Fiserv's
Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team responsible for threat
modeling and operationalizing threat data. The role involves
working with large amounts of structured and unstructured data from
vendors, open source, and internal sources. The candidate will work
with content engineers to deploy detection solutions to Fiserv's
security tools through a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP). The
ideal candidate for this job will be an experienced information
security practitioner who is goal oriented and strives to exceed
expectations. The candidate must have experience with a variety of
Cyber security tools. This role may require short-term,
non-traditional work hours based on team needs..Basic
Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience working within a CSIRT, SOC,
Intelligence position, or other IT related field tied to networking
and enterprise information system environments.
- Knowledge of intelligence gathering principles, policies, and
procedures including legal authorities and restrictions.
- Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence models (e.g., MITRE
ATT&CK, Kill Chain, Diamond Model).
- Knowledge of network security architecture concepts, including
topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application
of defense-in-depth).
- Knowledge of methodologies and techniques for identifying,
prioritizing, and classifying cyber incidents.
- Knowledge of malware analysis concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of system and application security threats and
vulnerabilities.
- Skills in using security event correlation tools.
- Ability to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize large quantities
of data (which may be fragmented and contradictory) into high
quality, fused targeting/intelligence products.
- Ability to utilize multiple intelligence sources across all
intelligence disciplines. Preferred Qualifications for
Consideration:
- Industry certifications such as GCTI, GREM, GCFA, GCFE, and
GMON.
- Skills in using Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and
Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) tools.
- Skills in curating threat actor Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)
and Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTPs) Travel required:
10-15% Percentage/frequency of travel Who We Are: We are the Cyber
