Job Description:

Curative, Inc. is looking to add an Laboratory Automation Site lead (or Assistant Site Manager, depending on the experience of the candidate), to its laboratory automation support team. The Laboratory Automation site lead/assistant site manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of Laboratory Automation Specialist
    • Ensure all Calibration and Validation activities on Clinical Laboratory Equipment are performed timely according to standard operating procedures
      • Maintaining calibration and validation records
        • Performing intermediate troubleshooting with Clinical Laboratory Equipment
          • Effect minor repairs and or editing equipment scripts on clinical laboratory equipment
            • Escalate and track issues with equipment to vendors and arrange service as necessary and track vendor adherence to SLA
              • Identify and review opportunities for improvement to equipment
                • Complete documentation, such as SOPs
                  • Track and trend site issues and prepare summary reports and or KPIs
                    • Other duties as required.Required Experience
                      • S./B.Eng. With molecular biology or Laboratory focus
                      • 1+ years experience managing teams
                      • Experience with calibration of temperature maintaining devices
                      • Experience with liquid handling Lab automation, particularly Hamilton Liquid handlers
                      • 1+ years working in a regulated environment (e.g. CLIA, CAP or ISO), understanding the need for good documentation and traceability
                      • Understanding mechanisms to calibrate liquid handling devices
                      • Ability to effectively use and configure equipment
                      • Ability to use statistical software packages e.g. JMP, R etc.This position reports to the Director of Laboratory Automation Support.Desirable Skills
                        • Hamilton ISE training
                        • Artel liquid handling calibration
                        • Liquid handler method programing
                        • Experience implementing tracking packages or CRMsCompensation
