Job Description:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

This position is responsible for traveling to designated locations to collect data for evaluation of the radio frequency (RF) environment and/or the AM detuning systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Investigate sites to identify RF and general safety issues; photo-document all access points, safety requirements, signage, antennas and related hardware

Identify, inventory, and photo-document existing antennas and related hardware, existing RF signage, barriers, and/or any necessary safety requirements, and site access for areas maintenance/repair activities (i.e. AC units, sky lights, vents,

flagpoles, security cameras, etc.)

Audit and document client provided access instruction for site access; document discrepancies and update SiteSafe database as needed

Utilize test equipment to evaluate sites and collect RF maximum permissible exposure (MPE) measurements

Maintain and follow safety standards in accordance with Company and customer expectations

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Two Year Associates Degree required; plus six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must live within 30 miles of a major airport (preference is for the airport to be a hub for a major carrier).

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations such as with the general public and other employees of the organization.

DECISION MAKING

Performs work operations which permit infrequent opportunity for decision-making of minor importance and which would only affect the operating efficiency of the individual involved to a slight degree.

USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS

Regular use of complex machines and equipment (i.e. desktop/laptop computer and software, smartphones, digital cameras, etc.)

PUBLIC CONTACT

Occasional routine contacts with persons outside the organization. This would include contacts with job site managers, general public, etc.

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED

Intermediate: Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing, must have a valid driver s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, may be required to work long and unpredictable hours , travel up to 100% of the time, including short notice travel, which may include local site travel or national travel depending on business needs.

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions; and frequently exposed to work in high, precarious places (ie building, rooftops, etc).

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
