Corner Alliance, a dynamic and growing consulting firm dedicated to an enriching employee experience, is looking for a Strategic Planning Support Specialist (Consultant II) with 4-7 years of experience to join our Washington, DC team.

About the Role:

You will provide strategic planning support and help build an organizational development roadmap for one of our government clients operating in the cybersecurity sphere. The role is an opportunity for you to join an energetic consulting team and make a difference by increasing cybersecurity capabilities in the federal landscape in an age of increasing digital threats to our nation.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Coordinate with a number of stakeholders to assess challenges and opportunities in the cybersecurity services landscape
• Research and analyze best practices, legal frameworks, regulations, and standards to improve client operations
• Develop monitoring and evaluation metrics for your products
• Support program management by conducting research using various data sources, analyzing information, preparing meeting summaries and reports, developing trackers, etc.
• Build professional relationships with clients and other external stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of outreach and communication plans
• Develop lessons learned documents and after-engagement reports
• Provide advice regarding government operations strategic communications with special attention paid to the digital domain.
• Support the planning, design, execution, and follow-up for small and large meetings with senior officials
• Participate in business development efforts

  Required Experience/Skills:
  
  
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4-7 years of experience in strategic planning and program management support
  • Experience in roadmap development, organizational assessment, and/or business process improvement. Experience in cybersecurity a plus.
  • Ability to support high-quality strategy, process improvement, research reporting, analytics reports, and technology products or services
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in team environments to coordinate project schedules and action items, and deliver exceptional work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to support organizational development and change management initiatives
  • Ability to communicate at a high level across all delivery channels and platforms, including advisory, collaborative support, complex and logically concise technical reporting, and graphical presentation of complex concepts with clarity and insight
  • Experience analyzing data and writing reports outlining findings and making recommendations
  • Mature judgment when anticipating and solving problems
  • Ability to multitask, collaborate, be proactive, and be creative
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint. Experience with Smartsheet or Advanced Excel a plus.
  • US citizenship or permanent resident status and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability
    Preferred Experience/Skills:
    
    
    • Master's degree
    • Previous experience in government, consulting, business writing, cybersecurity, and/or stakeholder outreach
    • Experience creating graphic content
