Job Summary

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: IT Operations Analysts interact with customers, IT professionals, and engineers to oversee the implementation and monitoring of IT systems. They manage IT audits, inspections, and findings, and support total asset management initiatives. IT Operations Analysts define requirements, design and document system specifications, perform quality assurance procedures, and collect and analyze performance metrics. They apply Information Technology Service Management principles to ensure successful transitions of systems into the enterprise and community. They also collaborate internally and externally to promote optimal and reliable IT performance and delivery of data, products, and services across the National System for GEOINT (NSG) and Allied System for GEOINT (ASG).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Corporate Services Branch (TOCSC) is seeking an organized and proactive individual with leadership skills to serve as the Corporate Administrative Workstation/Printer Operations Service Program Manager. The incumbent will champion coordination with Government, contractor Program Managers, Intelligence Community (IC), and industry service provider representatives along with appropriate directorate partners to provide operational oversight of services supported by CIO-T and TOCSC to meet NGA's mission requirements that utilize Corporate Administrative Workstation/Printer/Plotter services. The Corporate Operations Administrative Workstation/Printer Operations Service Program Manager specific duties deal with coordination with Program Mangers (PMs) to ensure new projects/services align with CIO-T Transition outcome actions, and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Technical Monitors (TMs) and Program Managers for release notifications; taking a proactive approach in identifying problems associated with workstation, printer, plotter, scanner devices, services, and formulating valid and effective alternatives or solutions to minimize or eliminate mission impacts. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, willing to assume responsibility for actions, detail oriented, and possess strong leadership skills.

Candidate must be able to complete DAWIA Level I Certification for Systems Engineering or Program Management within the first year of assumption of position. Candidate must be able to complete ITIL and Agile Engineering training.

Mandatory Qualifications

MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). * Technical knowledge or experience of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).* Technical knowledge or experience for products such as but not limited to Thick client, Thin client, and Zero client workstations scanners, plotters, printers, copiers, etc.* Experience generating or briefing technical reports or using reporting tools.* Technical knowledge or experience of Program or Asset Management.* Exhibit strong communication skills to teammates, customers, mission partners, and/or senior leadership.* Experience with diverse users/customers. Experience with customer requirements. Experience transitioning hardware/software into operations.

Highly Desired Qualifications

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired:

* Documented experience identifying and differentiating between capitalized and accountable Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) and their effect on agency financial statements.* Strong skills in analysis and data reconciliation to support property identification and appropriate accounting treatment.* Demonstrated understanding of the accounting for the end to end PP&E business process, including acquisition planning, monitoring, asset receiving and staging, asset and accountable property tracking/accountability/reporting, and asset disposal.* Documented experience leading teams to accomplish financial business process and improvement objectives.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Technology Management, or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in monitoring and/or coordinating the resolution of information technology issues, use and/or exposure to data analysis, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in monitoring and/or coordinating the resolution of information technology issues, use and/or exposure to data analysis, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. -AND- Relevant Competencies: IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving.

Highly Desired Qualifications QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired:

* Experience in the following is desired: Knowledge of the role of the Common Services Core Service Area in the Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) environment.* Possess the following skills: Organizational Representation; Interpersonal Relationship Development/Networking; Risk management techniques.* Problem solving and mediation techniques; Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) initiatives.* Security + Certification.

Additional Job Requirements

You must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. In addition, you are subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination in order to maintain access to Top Secret information. All employees are subject to a periodic examination on a random basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Refusal to take the examination may result in denial of access to Top Secret information, SAP, and/or unescorted access to SCIFs.

Employees with SCI access and who are under NGA cognizance are required to submit a Security Financial Disclosure Report, SF-714, on an annual basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Failure to comply may negatively impact continued access to Top Secret information, Information Systems, SAP, and/or unescorted access to SCIFs.

PROMOTION OPPORTUNITY: Promotion opportunities allow applicants at all band levels to be considered. Qualifications for NGA positions do not include specific time-in-band requirements. NGA will emphasize quality of experience, rather than duration, and assess how the quality of the experience demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance in the NGA occupational structure.

Band 03 $72,030 - $133,465
