Job OpportunityInova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join their team in Dunn Loring, Virginia.Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of imaging principles, anatomy, and pathology processes. They will be responsible for utilizing the most appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal examinations, as well as communicating effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.Responsibilities

• Perform and document routine quality control testing of equipment
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean environment
• Assist in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize examination performance and interpretationRequirements
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training
  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
