POSITION SUMMARY
Provide administrative support to the property management and
engineering teams and prompt, courteous, and high-level customer
service to the tenants, visitors, and contractors. Comply with the
operational policies and procedures established by JBG SMITH.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Act as the initial point of contact
for visitors and contractors.
- Answer calls, help resolve problems, and deliver messages to
the appropriate person(s).
- Greet and direct tenants, clients, and visitors in professional
and friendly manner.
- Work with office staff to ensure coverage for breaks, lunches,
absences, and vacations.
- Manage the electronic work ticket system including entering and
closing tickets, posting announcements, and preparing reports and
graphs.
- Produce contracts for services at the complex.
- Accurately process invoices in the online payment software for
the required approvals.
- Maintain all building files and typing, including spell
checking and proofreading all correspondence and reports.
- Maintain up-to-date tenant building guides and Tenant Contact
Lists.
- Purchase office supplies and equipment.
- Maintain and update tracking sheets (utility, invoices, service
contractors, and COI).
- Help management research and assemble information and data for
various reports.
- Complete special projects with the flexibility to cover
additional properties as needs change.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS)
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years' office
experience, preferably in property management or customer
service.
- Advanced Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills.
- Ability to learn internal accounting and other software
packages.
- Tying 40+ wpm.
- Top-notch organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to
accurately collect, interpret, and evaluate detailed data.
- Composed demeanor, professional appearance, positive attitude,
and customer-oriented approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work
independently and multitask.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
skills.
- Ability to draft correspondence from verbal guidance and
notes.
- Strong proofreading skills.
- Flexible, versatile, and able to adapt to rapidly changing
priorities.
- Sound judgment and initiative to properly address and resolve
issues.
- Punctual and available to work 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., M-F, for
on-time and consistent front desk coverage.
- Ability to pass a government background check may be
required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.Physical Requirements and Work

range for this position is $23.50/hour to $24.50/hour. JBG SMITH
