Logistician IIIPosition Locations: - Stafford VA, Norfolk VA, Washington DCPosition Requirements/Primary Responsibilities: - The Logistician III provides Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) and associated Program Management Offices (PMOs) assistance with integrated logistics management and the -successful delivery and fielding of end-to-end capabilities. The Logistician III coordinates logistics management activities, performs analytical and administrative tasks, and develops appropriate supporting program(s)/project(s) documentation to include:

assist with development of and update logistics documentation for PEO MLB programs and portfolios to include but not limited to LRFS, DMSMS, UID, ULSS, and Supportability Plans.review and provide logistic input for requirements and acquisition documents.assist with development of the Prime Mission Product/Service SOW, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and other documentation for development of Prime Mission Product/Services purchase request packages.assist with the development and update of logistics cost estimates, models, and progress and special reports while validating and consolidating data and performing performance/cost trade-off analyses to identify optimum solutions for product improvement of future systems.assist with the development and update of the product support related financial and budget submission and execution to include spend plans, impact statements, issue papers, and responses to all official budget inquiries.analyze program data to determine impacts on schedules and milestones andsupport the development and update of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and POA&Ms.
assist with the development and update of required Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA) and Product Support Health Assessment (PSHA) documentation. Gather all initial and existing programmatic and logistics documents and copies of electronics data and prepare the ILA document package. Review the progress of the assessment, analyze identified deficiencies, implement corrections, and attend in-process meetings.review the Master Installation Schedule and verify budget exhibits to develop Program Support Data (PSD) sheets for spares requirements utilizing the PSD Automated Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS) online database.assist with the development and update of the PSD sheets to support scheduled N4 Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM) review and archive PSDs when required. maintain, update, and track the ILS sections of the integrated schedules to ensure ILS product delivery from Echelon III field activities.assist with the development of PBL BCAs to support the evaluation of various support strategies and provide expert strategy recommendations.provide Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT) support in accordance with DoD, DON, industry, and local best practices, standards, policies, and guidelines.prepare, update, maintain, track, review, and assess training documentation, resources reports, briefs, and data calls.produce supportability analysis and plans for each ILS product support element and develop logistics plans and reports.provide expertise to support the Navy Modernization Process, policy development, - and working groups including: (1) development of ILS Certifications ensuring the submitted ILS data supports the applicable Ship Change Document (SCD), and/or Engineering Change, prior to submission and support status data calls and meetings including maintaining the OPN and SCN ILS Certification Matrix with the current information in accordance with SPAWARINST 4105.2C and NAVSEA TS9090-310G; (2) provide weekly status reports, status presentation slides, meeting attendance, and associated data as required and in accordance with the NAVWAR PEO Integrated Data Environment Repository (SPIDER) generated fielding plan; (3) review and comment on Installation Configuration Drawings (ICD)/Installation Requirements Drawings (IRD); (4) review and provide recommended change for all installation schedules (SPIDER, NDE, etc.) and work plans.assist the Government in responding to data calls and "roll-ups" (e.g., depot maintenance, operating materials and supplies (OM&S), training, and transportation).provide ILS representation at engineering IPTs and other engineering meetings and provide recommendations to the engineering competency facilitating system material RMA growth. participate in supportability analysis efforts. Review deviations and waivers for ILS impacts and when impacts exist, provide an associated cost estimate on the funding required to address those impacts, and review Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for ILS implementation via the approved people, processes, and tools utilized by the program. Generate an ILS-related ECR when necessitated by a logistics-engineering issue.review and analyze draft or newly published changes to DoD and DON policy and regulatory guidance documents pertaining to acquisition, Automated Information Systems and Logistics Support, and provide input for recommended provisions, and provide impacts to the PEO MLB/PMOs.Education and Experience Requirements: -

  • 7+ years professional experience in Integrated Logistics Support -Skills and Abilities: -
