Description:The Digital Specialist has a passion for and a
proven track record of finding and engaging audiences in the
ever-evolving digital ecosystem including websites, social media,
emails, and other channels. This role is a combination of data and
creativity; combining a keen ability to track and interpret data to
inform campaigns and creates channel-specific, on-trend, on-brand,
and on-strategy and create visual content - specifically for social
media. The goal is to advance the organization's position with
relevant constituents, as well as to drive broader awareness and
donor support. The Specialist reports to the Assistant Vice
President of Communications (AVPC). Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under the AVPC's guidance, create, implement, and monitor
integrated digital campaigns to advance PPMW and PPADMV's brand
identity, increase program engagement and priorities, and support
fundraising success.
- Manage organic search campaigns and optimize SEO.
- Deliver profitable PP/MW & ADMV campaigns across multiple ad
networks, including Google Ads, paid social and other
platforms.
- With AVPC, establish and track KPIs, optimize marketing
funnels, and improve landing page conversion rates.
- Leverage KPIs to measure ROI, analyze, and report on campaign
success to make future data-driven decisions.
- Build engagement across PP/MW & ADMV's social media channels -
Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube (working with Comms Mgr.),
and LinkedIn.
- Monitor and populate PPMW's editorial calendar.
- Collaborate with teams (Medical Services, Development,
Education, Public Affairs, Education, etc.) to create and deploy
innovative, memorable, and timely content for breaking news and
major initiatives, content that is consistent with brand
guidelines.
- Work within communications and marketing teams (AVPC, patient
marketing, Comms Manager, etc.) to create and coordinate
campaigns.
- Create social and digital media assets - including, but not
limited to, static graphics, motion graphics, and GIFs.
- Manage content, including social media and content
library.
- Help administer PPMW websites and publish content.
- Keep up with and amplify messaging provided by Planned
Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA).
- Remain up-to-date with the latest digital media trends and
design technology available.
- Help ensure all communications meet brand and DEI
guidelines.
- Other responsibilities as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, or a related
field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' work experience in digital
marketing.
- Solid experience with Hootsuite or similar platform, Canva or
InDesign platform, Django web development.
- Solid experience with designing content and paid advertising of
social media for key platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube).
- Knowledge of editing programs such as Photoshop and Final Cut
Pro.
- Knowledge of content management systems for library
creation.
- Advanced experience with web analytic tools such as Google Ads
and Google Campaign Manager.
- Knowledge of the latest media trends.
- Basic budgeting skills to reconcile paid digital media
placements with the available budget.
