Location: -Gaithersburg, MD / Salary: -$90,000 -$130,000 We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer & IT Project Engineer- (Partial WFH - MSP) candidate to be part of a growing Managed Service Provider firm. The ideal Senior Systems Engineer - (Partial WFH - MSP) for this position will have 2-5+ years of experience deploying and supporting small-to-medium business environments, including servers, networking, virtualization, and the cloud. The Senior Systems Engineer & IT Project Engineer- (Partial WFH - MSP) will be supporting clients through their migration from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions.The Senior Systems Engineer & IT Project Engineer- (Partial WFH - MSP) will create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation related to supported systems. The Senior Systems Engineer & IT Project Engineer- (Partial WFH - MSP) must have the ability to perform with a high level of autonomy and come with excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills. The Senior Systems Engineer & IT Project Engineer- (Partial WFH - MSP) must have excellent customer service skills and a desire to increase knowledge of cloud technology, virtualization, and networks for small-to-medium business solutions. The Senior Systems Engineer & IT Project Engineer- (Partial WFH - MSP) supports O365/Azure deployments, virtualizing servers via Hyper-V/VMware, Server/Desktop support, and Networking configurations (SonicWall and Cisco Meraki) projects. The Senior Systems Engineer & IT Project Engineer- (Partial WFH - MSP) will also lead as the technical expert for all infrastructure-related outages, failures, and problems.

• Troubleshooting and deploying Window server 2012-2019
• Act as the highest point of escalation for Tier 2 and Tier 1 engineers.
• MS Office 365 administration with domain synchronization and migrations
• MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS OF MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDER EXPERIENCE
• Azure deployments and migration experience
• Expert-level experience managing Microsoft solutions (Microsoft Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, failover clustering, file services)
• Provide top-notch technical support in your areas of subject matter expertise (network, virtualization)
• Experience managing and creating of Active Directory and Group Policy
• Coordinating and implementing client/server applications architecture
• VMware and/or Hyper-V experience
• Implementing network software and hardware upgrades (Cisco Meraki; SonicWall)
• Configuring and managing firewalls, switches, WAPs, VPNs, and other network appliances
