advancement.ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-
oriented Senior scheduler to join our team in Washington, DC.The OA
CSS contract supports the CBP Office of Acquisition and multiple
customers within CBP. The acquisition support includes program
management, acquisition process reviews, contracting, budget,
schedule, engineering, test & evaluation, and requirements support
for the gov to develop, procure, and deploy systems for border
security. These experts and SMEs are fully embedded with our gov
customer. In addition, we support activity for the CBP intelligence
community by providing intelligence analysts to support a wide
range of classified activity.General ResponsibilitiesAssist in
tracking project schedule, cost, and technical performanceProvide
project-specific support by providing observations and
recommendations on the project (e.g., impacts to schedules, impacts
to budgets, possible impacts to other projects)Create, monitor, and
analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best
project practiceCreate, monitor, and analyze a centralized master
schedule of all ongoing project activities in accordance with
standard of best project practicesTrack, analyze, and report
information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage
their projects and evaluate weekly reportsEnsure accuracy of
project schedules and performed version controlCo-ordinate project
schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of
reportsPrepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work
Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrityMonitor
projects' progress, including identifying critical activities and
reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to dateSupport earned
value management processes by reviewing Integrated Master Plan,
Work Breakdown Structure, Integrated Master Schedule, cost and
contract performance data and by determining variances, and risks
associated with the project.Support project risk register to ensure
that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on
schedule, scope, and budget of projectsTrack baselines, perform
what-if analysis, and develop contingency plansDeveloping
conceptual models for Business Capability traceability matrix to
explain processes to all levels of usersPerform coordination of
cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor
action items, and work with the project manager to ensure
resolution.Develop, review, and provide technical inputs on
pre-contractual documentation to include Acquisition Strategies,
Acquisition Strategy Plans, Program Management Plans, RFP
components, Source Selection Plans, Contract Management Plans, Work
Breakdown Schedules, Integrated Master Plans/Integrated Master
Schedules for feasibility and completeness.Skills RequiredPossess
at least 7 years of experience in project schedulingProficiency in
the use of project scheduling software such as Primavera or MS
projectThis position requires demonstrated initiative, sound
judgment, effective decision-making, the ability to plan and
organize work, and excellent oral and written communication
skills.Requires a detail-oriented self-starter experienced in
supporting senior Government leaders and other technical/business
professionals.Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint are required. Schedule
risk assessment and business analysis software experience is also
desired.Superior customer interface at senior levels of management
with excellent oral and written communication skills are
critical.SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:A current Customs and
Border Protection Background Investigation is required to
startCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:NoneSCHEDULED WEEKLY HOURS:40 (Full
Time)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to remain in a stationary
position 50%For all positions requiring access to
technology/software source code that is subject to export control
