Failure to provide proof of vaccination or to obtain approval for a medical or religious exemption will result in the offer of employment being rescinded.Position Summary/Purpose of Position:The Smith School of Business and the Honors College of the University of Maryland are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Program Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Business Honors (IBH) Program (https://ibh.umd.edu/). IBH is a two year living-learning program within Maryland's nationally ranked Honors College, designed for accomplished honors students of all majors who wish to explore business connections among disciplines. This new program welcomed its first cohort of 62 freshmen in the Fall 2022 semester. IBH offers a unique undergraduate experience, involving a two-year residential program, an honors track of five interdisciplinary business courses, and extracurricular components.The IBH Program Coordinator will lead retention and engagement efforts for IBH students, including coordinating daily operations; planning extracurricular events, orientations, and student communications; advising students and student organizations; and assisting the program staff and faculty as needed. Some evening and weekend work is required.
