The Chemistry Department at Boston College invites applications
for a non-tenure track, assistant professor of the practice
teaching position. - The successful candidate is expected to be
able to teach introductory level chemistry courses in multiple
areas. - Assignments may include General Chemistry and a Life
Science Chemistry course for students in allied health fields. -
Responsibilities may also include involvement in the Boston College
Gateway Scholars Program for STEM students that supports
first-generation and students of color through foundational courses
Ph.D. degree in chemistry or related discipline.
Demonstrated ability to be an effective teacher.
