Job Description:

Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking a contingent worker for 6 months fully remote project to help support our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director with administrative support, project management, communications and more. Job Description: Provide administrative, logistical, and project management support to the DEI Director and for DEI-related programming

  • Assist with scheduling meetings with internal and external colleagues.
  • Coordinate logistics and assist with preparing presentations, talking points, and background material for leadership meetings, webinars, all-staff events, and other HR activities as needed.
  • Create agendas, project work plans, reporting templates, and other planning documents to support the implementation of DEI-related programming and workshops.
  • Collaborate with internal functions as needed to support our DEI external partnership activities.
  • Record and maintain meeting minutes and materials for group convenings as needed.
  • Assist with coordinating and tracking DEI Council activities and priorities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure that sensitive, secure, and confidential information is handled, stored, and disseminated appropriately. Assist with DEI strategy and roadmap content development and communications
    • Contribute to DEI-related resources and messaging to communicate information about the organization's DEI initiatives and programs, including annual reports, briefing materials, newsletters, presentations, and DEI educational offerings.
    • Develop and manage the DEI content for digital media channels.
    • Foster relationships with staff and leaders to increase DEI strategy and roadmap awareness and identify additional communications opportunities.
    • Conduct literature reviews and research to support ongoing assessment of the DEI landscape and internal publication development. Support the development of the company's Employee Resource Group (ERG) program
      • Collaborate with ERG leaders, internal staff, and consultants to guide new ERG launch activities and identify ERG leadership development opportunities.
      • Partner with ERG leaders, sponsors, and internal functions to increase ERG awareness and promote ERG programming and activities.
      • Organize the ERG annual reporting process to capture goals, accomplishments, opportunities, and needs. Job Requirements:Position Requirements
        • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in DEI, education, public health, organizational development/leadership, or other relevant discipline is required.
        • Strong interest, knowledge, understanding, and experience with DEI program development, implementation, and management.
        • Familiarity with content development for web, print, or other digital communications.
        • Strong detail-oriented and project management skills.
        • Ability to prioritize and concurrently manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to capture the attention of varied stakeholder audiences.
        • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style.
        • Ability to facilitate dialogue among cross-functional staff to execute and bring closure to initiatives and projects.
        • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
        • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Time Type: Full time Primary Location: Remote Location Scheduled Weekly Hours: 35 If a bachelor's degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
