Job Description:
The position skills required are ability to keep track of a
portfolio of program activities and subcontract awardees. -
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage a diverse
set of administrative and program tracking tasks will be required.
- Knowledge of the technical, market and policy aspects of solar in
the District is an advantage, but not required. - Similarly,
familiarity with solar market actors and personnel in the District
is an advantage but not required. - Training on the life-cycle
process for solar development projects, and the related steps for
program tracking and milestone reporting will be part of the
initial work orientation. -
- Support Project team with program execution
- Coordinate internal meetings and meetings with clients
- Coordinate with other VEIC/DCSEU team members on administrative
tasks
- Assist with program solicitations by tracking and compiling
questions and scoring criteria
- Provide administrative support to webinars, meetings, etc,
including recording participants, preparing agendas, taking notes,
and conducting follow up.
- Work with team to track progress with meeting specified program
goals
- Utilize proprietary CRM database to track and manage projects
and programs
- Track responses to program solicitations
- Ensure subcontract awardees submit timely milestone
reports
- Review documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with issue resolution and documentation
verification
- Communicate with solicitation respondents and other industry
stakeholders
- Continue to grow our reach into the community and beyond about
our program and the DCSEU
- Help build and maintain program database
- Conduct outreach to solar industry to educate them about the
Solar for All program
- Conduct outreach on upcoming program activities and
solicitations.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for subcontractors or
others who are interested in participating or learning more about
the DCSEU's Solar for All services. -
- Strong personal commitment to the mission, vision, goals and
values of VEIC.
- High school degree or a combination of education and experience
from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
- Two of work experience in an organization that involves data
tracking and management, administrative, and communications
experience.
- Demonstrated passion for and commitment to solar, the
environment and the District of Columbia.
- Advanced interpersonal, written, and oral communication
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and other
partnerships to support program objectives.
- Experience collaborating effectively with diverse
audiences.
- Energetic, self-motivated, person.
- Team player.
- Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple
priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with
staff members, community leaders, business leaders, supporters,
media, and other stakeholders.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Must have the ability to effectively work with a variety of
individuals at all levels.
