This position is a hybrid work schedule, requiring 2 days in the McLean, VA office and 3 days remote. Our technology enhances the services we offer to our customers, improves productivity and performance for employees, and protects our information and assets - and our communicators tell the story of how EO+T makes it happen.Your Impact:As part of the EO+T Communications and Marketing team, you ll use highly creative and forward-thinking communications and marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of new technologies to Freddie Mac s population. You will support various technology teams and programs through internal communications and marketing as a trusted communications business partner. In this role, you will lead end-to-end internal communications and marketing for the Employee Technology Experience (ETX) program and other end-user technology initiativesDesign and deliver innovative, creative, multi-modal internal marketing campaigns that drive action, foster adoption, support enablement for new and current end-user technologiesProvide communications counsel on technology rollout best practices, messaging, emerging issues, and adoption strategiesWork collaboratively with varying levels of staff, from individual contributors through senior management, including various program and project teamsProject manage various communication vehicles and events, providing logistics and communications deliverables (e.g., presentations, announcements, talking points, demonstrations, interest days)Research, create and deliver various communications including job aids, infographics, presentations, scripts, articles, and targeted emailsDesign to and deliver against key metrics - showing how your work makes an impact to understanding and adoption of new and changing end-user technologiesQualifications:5-7+ years of experience in the communications industry, with complimentary experience (e.g., marketing, graphic design, brand) preferredBachelor s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related fieldHighly creative self-starter, with experience developing multi-modal communications plans and approaches in support new technology introductions to engage employees and foster adoptionTech-savvy, inquisitive individual with successful user advocacy experienceResilient and able to balance competing priorities and quickly turning around deliverables in a constantly evolving business and work environmentExperience leading multiple creative projects from creative concept through executionDemonstrated experience translating complicated concepts, ideas or terms into memorable and significant collateral and storiesOutstanding consultative and presentation skillsExcellent writer and content developer that can communicate technology and inspires audiences through different vehicles/mediaSolid project management, organizational and time management skillsAbility to apply critical thinking to provide innovative recommendations and communication plans; consistently performing with high and able to handle conflict and build strong working relationshipsUnderstanding of Agile practice preferredKEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:Systems thinker and problem solver who sees around corners to address challenges and take advantage of opportunitiesExperience developing marketing campaigns and communications plans that use external approaches and tactics internallyThorough with the ability to prioritize and multitask within ambiguous and shifting environmentsAbility to withstand unexpected demands, balance and maintain control of the work and think of new ways to solve problems or situations while continuing to make progressStoryteller with excellent writing/content skills and affinity for technologyKeen on adhering to grammar and AP style standardsAble to design and deliver campaigns that meet or exceed objectives and key results (OKR's)Current Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
