The OCFO Chief Product & Data Officer for Corporate
Responsibility and Morgan Health is seeking an experienced Head of
Data to define and drive JP Morgan's Corporate Responsibility (CR)
data strategy. This position will mature CR's delivery, use, and
management of our data assets; work with internal partners (e.g.,
Chief Administrators Office) to incorporate data management
frameworks (e.g., Data Owner roles & responsibilities); drive Data
Quality initiatives and best practices; define content standards
(e.g., Metadata), collaborate with our technology teams to develop
contemporary data infrastructures, and own the adoption of the
overall data strategy.In support of JP Morgan Chase Corporate
Responsibility's mission and goals of breaking down barriers to
opportunity and creating an economy that works for more people -
our reliance on good, timely, fit-for-purpose data that is
effectively managed, is paramount. To do so, you will develop and
realize an overall data strategy and roadmap that will drive the
scope and effectiveness of our mission critical data assets,
evaluate the need for a common data framework and data repository,
build a multi-modal service model that meets our non-uniform
functional groups, work across our key product owners, business
owners, data owners, as well as our technology leaders.This role
offers a unique opportunity and reports directly to the Chief
Product and Data Officer for Corporate Responsibility and Morgan
Health. This is a matrixed role that will require deft stakeholder
management and comfort working seamlessly with technology partners,
cross line-of-business representatives, and analysts.Minimum
Qualifications:5+ years (or equivalent) of senior leadership in
information and data asset managementBachelor's degree, preferably
in Information Management, Information Systems, Systems Engineering
or related technical fieldDemonstrated leadership ability and an
ability to collaborate across teams using a consultative
approachUnderstand and communicate complex, technical, engineering
issues to non-technical stakeholdersExperience with Database
Infrastructure concepts and ETL pipelines requirementsExperience
evaluating and establishing Data Quality standards and
assessmentsExperience developing, implementing, and maintaining a
data roadmapExperience with Big Data and Cloud data services &
infrastructureExperience working in an Agile environmentTruly being
comfortable with ambiguityPassion for LearningPreferred
Qualifications:Data Quality estimation and statistical
techniquesExperience data wrangling with Python, Scala, or
RGeospatial data or geospatial services (e.g., geocoding)
experienceData structures for Natural Language Processing training
and inferencePhilanthropic, Grant Making, or Regulatory filing
