Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the development of project schedules and
identify activities necessary to produce products and services
during project execution.Apply work breakdown structure
requirements.Manage information integration from engineers,
subcontractors, owners, and others to create an integrated master
schedule.Identify critical paths including critical float path
analysis.Create graphics including Gantt charts, activity network
diagrams, time-scaled logic diagrams, and histograms.Establish and
manage a performance management system using baseline information
in the estimate and schedule.Work with project management to set
goals, objectives, and success factors and analyze project
status.Assessing progress measurement and developing/updating
progress curves for progress reporting.Perform project performance
analysis including earned value. Preparing project schedules based
on defined project execution philosophies.Assessing progress
measurement and developing/updating progress curves for progress
reporting.Preparing schedule updates and general maintenance in
Primavera.Schedule related information collection and
distribution.QUALIFICATIONS:A degree in Civil Engineering or
Construction Management from a recognized institution.Minimum of 5
years of related project scheduling experience.Experience in a
heavy infrastructure environment is required.Advanced skills in
Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).High level proficiency with
Primavera (P6), required. Knowledge of MS Project, an asset.Results
oriented individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple
priorities and time lines.Commitment to working in a team
environment.Strong oral and written communications skills.Equal
