Job DescriptionThe Senior Business Development Executive,
Federal role will develop and manage new Federal Government level
engagements.We are currently looking to hire an energetic, highly
motivated, can-do attitude individual who enjoys networking and
establishing relationships to join our team as Senior Business
Development Executive, Federal. In this role, you will be
responsible for developing and implementing commercial and
strategic relationships with federal government organizations in
accordance with company's overarching objective, goals and
strategies.Organizational Relationship
- Receives work assignments from Chief Growth Officer.
- Administratively reports to assigned supervisor.
- May work independently or in conjunction with other staff to
complete assigned tasks.
- Cross functional interaction regarding executing on the jointly
development business plan, which includes market paths, potential
partners, etc.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Sourcing new Federal Government partners and executing exciting
partnership solutions
- Negotiating attractive deals and ensuring mutually beneficial
partnership terms that are in line with business objectives and
strategy
- Maintaining and deepening relationships with existing Federal
Agency customers
- Developing metrics to measure success with customers.
- Facilitate business growth by focusing on Federal buyers (VA
and Military Health, HHS, CDC, Emergency Management, Pandemic
Preparedness, Testing Leader and other federal agencies and their
leaders), driving a change to Digital Point of Care testing.
- Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and
prospective consulting partners.
- Monitor competitive intelligence by keeping up to date on
market trends, competitors and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with Federal Government sales channel
partners.Other Duties & Responsibilities
- All other duties as assigned.Requirements
- You have a diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business
Administration or related field.
- You have prior experience in a similar role and a strong track
record of success in building strategic partnerships.
- You have experience working with senior stakeholders to find
win-win solutions.
- You are highly goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem
solver.
- You have excellent organizational and time management
skills.
- Strong ability to analyze large quantities of data forecast,
pipeline management and sales analytics.
- Detail oriented.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to convey
information across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates strategic decision making and problem-solving
skills with both critical and analytical reasoning skill.
- Healthcare acumen, including clinical, technical and business
knowledge regarding the US healthcare market.
- Bachelors degree in business, sales, or related field.
- At least 10 years of business development and management
experience, preferably in healthcare diagnostics or health
plans.
- In depth knowledge of healthcare operations, specifically
diagnostics and health plans.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams, as well as
senior business leadership and executives.Benefits
