Job Description:

WWC Global is seeking Functional Specialists to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency's Background Investigation Division. (DCMA - BI).

The responsibilities of the Functional Specialist may include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the CATMS Tracker Activities:
    • Receiving, analyzing, disseminating, and tracking external and internal taskers using CATMS, tracking tools, and other information request streams
    • Reviewing, validating and compiling feedback
    • Scheduling senior leadership reviews, coordinating approval for release, and delivering final product through the appropriate mechanism
    • Communicating timely updates, suspense dates, reminders, and actions throughout the BI mission
    • Conducting weekly CATMS meetings for updates and coordination
    • Coordinating with Government leadership and stakeholders to create narrative and visual content, flow charts, and diagrams for mission and workforce products in response to routine and ad-hoc requests
    • Providing logistical (facility, technology, equipment) checks to support Town Halls, site visits and other off-site engagements
    • Providing technical and subject matter support to the Chief of Staff on mission, administration, and workforce efforts
    • Providing oversight and guidance to the management of the Directorate's governance structure
      • Collaborating with senior leadership and enabling function SMEs to identify governance -council topics
      • Conducting scheduling, pre-meeting presentation reviews, technical set-up, and planning actions, Assist meeting presenters with the development of factual, relevant, and explicable presentations, organizing meeting hot washes to assist BI leadership with transparent decision-making, timely action follow-up, and process improvement
      • Tracking, reporting, and recording council meeting outcomes; storing records for future reference
      • Creating agendas and recording, documenting, and disseminating BI meeting minutes
      • Tracking and developing status reports on Mission Coordination Office (MCO) projects and actions
      • Developing surveys, conducting interviews, collecting and analyzing data to inform workforce studies; and coordinating with leadership to organize teams and develop implementation strategies for subsequent recommendations
      • Travel may be required

        Work Environment:
        • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
        • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
        • Ability to work in confined areas.

          Physical Demands:
          • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
          • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

            Travel:
            • 0-20% / Occasional travel.

              Requirements

              Basic Qualifications
              • Bachelor's Degree OR An Associate's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience OR a high school diploma or GED plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
              • Current, active Top Secret security clearance.
              • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
              • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
              • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience supporting Federal Government (preferred DoD organizations), or as a corporate policy officer, editor, paralegal, executive assistant, customer outreach advocate, military executive/staff officer or similar position.
              • Direct experience conducting research and/or performing analytic work, writing/editing, and business/administrative work.
              • Direct experience managing people, projects or processes.
              • Executive Order 14042, the vaccine mandate for federal contractors, is enjoined and not currently being enforced. Yet the OSHA ETS has recently been reinstated, requiring business of 100 employees or more to comply. Personnel must comply with the vaccine requirements of the ETS.
              • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

                Preferred Qualifications
                • Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, Law, or Business Administration or other relevant degree.
                • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
