Current work is virtual but may require occasional physical presence in our downtown DC-office in the future. Currently, the position is part-time with some benefits listed below, with the possibility of growing into a full-time position with full benefits over time.Position Description Community Wealth Partners is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant to join our team. This person will represent the firm as the first point of contact to the public with professionalism, positivity, and confidence. Reporting to the President or CEO, the Executive Assistant will support the executive team and the overall functioning of the organization by giving ad hoc day-to-day support in matters of scheduling, logistics, data entry, communication, and other administrative tasks. While proactively and independently executing on and maintaining routine administrative processes/tasks, the Executive Assistant will assist the executives in the creation of new processes/tasks as necessary for improvements and efficiency. The person in this role will actively develop and maintain positive, trusted relationships with the team. The Executive Assistant will also assist the firm in problem solving office management issues and supporting firm outcomes where possible.Key Responsibilities

  • Independently identifies and performs tasks to support the members of the executive team around areas of responsibility like executive assistance, administration, data entry, scheduling, expense reporting, planning for and managing travel, etc.
  • Purposefully works to support executives in planning their days for optimal efficiency and to meet goals. Examples of such activities include proactive calendaring, interfacing with clients and prospects, being responsive and building rapport with them.
  • Proactively and clearly communicates with members of the executive team and their colleagues about progress on tasks, questions arising in the work, and challenges that need to be addressed, etc.
  • Collaboratively partners by stepping in for other team members for administrative tasks when needed and helps team members meet their respective goals.
  • Helps support or lead firmwide organizational initiatives like annual planning process, coordination of firmwide team engagement events, retreats, and board meetings etc.
  • May need to work from the downtown DC office for some portion of the weekly hours when we fully return to the office.Desired Qualities

    • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in an Executive support role. Familiarity with or experience in a service-oriented business and/or the social sector will be a plus.
    • Competent in MS Office 365 Suite, strong analytical thinking as well as written and oral communications that are detail oriented and service oriented.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, an ability to build long-term relationships with individuals at different levels and from different backgrounds.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented, enjoys managing multiple tasks simultaneously, works well/has experience working with more than one executive at a time.
    • Demonstrable service orientation towards helping and supporting others with empathy.
    • Highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable, able to shift styles to fit the needs of the individual working with while handling multiple tasks at one time.
    • Brings a positive attitude to all work situations and resolves conflicts proactively and productively.
    • Tendency to be creative when problem solving; thrives in a culture of open feedback.
    • Ability to commit to a regular part-time schedule M-F for 4 to 5 hours daily between the hours of 9am and 5pm EST.Compensation and Benefits
      • Compensation range of $30 per hour or higher based on experience.
      • Part-time, non-exempt position, working 20-25 hours per week.
      • Retirement benefits in the form of 8% employer matching 401K contributions after one year of employment.
      • Paid sick leave and federal holidays.Hiring Process and Timeline
