PMS 317, the Landing Platform Docking (LPD) amphibious ships
Program office is responsible for the design, build, outfit, and
test (to include Flight I and Flight II ships), and to provide for
life-cycle maintenance support. With 11 LPD 17 Flight I ships
delivered, two in construction and planned future procurement of 13
LPD 17 Flight II ships, the main focus of PMS 317 activities
includes ship acquisition, technical/system integration, ship
production, test, outfitting, GFE/GFI management, and
post-delivery. CACI seeks a SENIOR LEVEL OPERATIONS MANAGER to
serve as the LFT&E/SAR Lead. This person will assist PMS 317
accomplish its mission and objectives. This task will be executed
in Washington, DC.
What You'll Get to Do:
Support the Test Director in the planning and execution of
LFT&E/SAR tasking in accordance with LFT&E/SAR requirements
for the systems being tested.
Ensure that the LFT&E/SAR program meets statutory,
regulatory, and DoD policies for LFT&E/SAR.
Produce accurate reports and interface with test agencies to
facilitate LFT&E events.
Develop and maintain LFT&E/SAR acquisition documentation,
test plans, and reports.
Ensure LTF&E data is properly collected and evaluated as
Provide information to the Test Director on potential user
casualties, vulnerabilities, and lethality, taking into equal
consideration susceptibility to attack, and combat performance of
the system being tested.
Ensure that knowledge of user casualties and system
vulnerabilities or lethality is based on testing of the system
under realistic combat conditions.
Make corrective recommendations of any design deficiency
identified by LFT&E/SAR efforts.
- Assess recoverability from battle damage and battle damage
repair capabilities and issues.

.You MUST HAVE These Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen and have an Active DoD Top Secret
15+ years relevant experience managing test programs for
DoD/Navy ship programs
- Navy ACAT 1 shipbuilding experience
Ability to write clear reports
Ability to interface with team members, technical leads and
Ability to work alone on individual projects and collaborate
with multidisciplinary team members
Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good verbal (English) communication skills
