Overview

Seeking a HANA Developer to join a team supporting ERP logistics capabilities for the US Army. The HANA developer will support activities related to the Commander's Actionable Readiness Dashboard (C@RD). Work location is client site, Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as Primary C@RD HANA developer/SME
  • Monitor and improve C@RD performance to deliver equipment readiness, obligation adjustment, property book, shop stock, and other readiness data to end users
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to drive reporting solution via the C@RD to improve the readiness posture of the Army
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to review existing functionality and capture future enhancements
  • Design back-end SAP HANA objects to include views for
  • Equipment on Hand
  • Material Details
  • Authorize Stock
  • PBID assignment metrics

  • Develop WEBi & Lumira Reports to support C@RD functionality
  • Review technical deliverables to ensure: a) requirements are complete, consistent, unambiguous, and testable; b) requirements meet evaluation criteria for system maintainability, reliability, and usability; and c) requirements adhere to the system documentation methodology.
  • Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and make recommendations on technical architecture and software design deliverables to ensure that it satisfies the system requirements and supports an effective system design.
  • Participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) to make recommendations as to the technical solution validity on proposed Change Requests (CRs), system, and trouble tickets.
  • Support conflict assessments and mediation related to ERP integration issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the approved integration strategy and technical accuracy, and implementation potential of the proposed solutions.
  • Respond to audit artifact requests and support related Audit team activities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • SAP HANA Certification
  • 10-15 years demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP BI/BO solutions
  • Experience with Business Warehouse (BW) development on HANA, S4/HANA and hybrid models
  • Experience with Scalar Functions, Table functions, CDS View/Design-time Objects and Stored procedures
  • Detailed knowledge of Army ERP solutions such as Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army)
  • Strong ABAP & AMDP development skills
  • Strong SQL Script Procedure Development within Native HANA, as well as standard graphical modeling.
  • Experience with SAP Business Objects tools: Data Services, Information Design Tool, Web Intelligence, Crystal Report, Design Studio, Lumira Designer, & SAP Analytics Could.
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
