The Telecommunications Project Manager provides administrative
and technical planning and support in the migration from a Nortel
SL100 system to a Cisco platform during a modernization
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into
daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge /

Provides highly technical and specialized experience in
enterprise telecommunications system migrations.
Coordinates telecommunications migration activities including
gathering requirements and translating features from old system to
Create customer facing documents for migration plan and
Maintains configuration of migration activities between the old
and the new systems.
Coordinates client project activities related to
Coordinates and communicates with team members, both CNI and the
Manages porting process and telephone number assignments.
Responsible for the integration between the telephone system and
telephone management system (TMS), i.e. billing, work order, and
Tracks and communicates project status.
Coordinates cutovers for end users during the migration
May be required to work longer than scheduled hours and on
weekends during cutover periods.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being
available and receptive to any training made available by the

maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and
orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will
report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate

conditions to the best of own ability.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years' experience in
the telecommunications industry, or equivalent combination of
education / experience. Experience with simple and complex voice
and data services, i.e. circuits, internet, GPON, analog, toll
free, long distance, and teleconference.
Must have prior experience with migrating voice systems from one
platform to another, Nortel/Avaya SL100 to Cisco preferred.

Skilled in Microsoft Office products: Microsoft Excel (Formulas
and Pivot Table), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal
with several abstract and concrete variables.
