VSC Fire & Security, a leading fire protection and life safety system contractor, is seeking a Fire Alarm Helper for our Springfield District.

We are seeking someone who has experience in, or is interested in learning commercial and industrial electrical fire and life safety systems wiring.

The Fire Alarm Helper will be responsible for assisting in the installation of raceways, wiring and equipment for commercial and industrial fire pumps and controls, fire alarms, security, closed circuit cameras, access control and other life safety systems, to include wiring of circuits and systems from 12 VDC to 480 VAC.

The Fire Alarm Helper requires two three years of experience installing electrical raceways and wiring. Must have hand tools of the trade and a general working knowledge of industrial and commercial installation methods. Must be able to read and comprehend drawings, as well as follow written and verbal instruction. Exceptional attention to detail and great communication skills are required. Candidates should have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in case required to drive a company vehicle and reliable transportation. DCJS background check and registration will be required.
