Summary (About this Position):
The North America Connection Systems Team has an exciting
opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in Vienna,
OH at a world-class plastic injection molding facility. The
successful candidate will lead the plant's Tool Engineers and
Controls Engineers and implement continuous improvements in tool
quality, cost and design technology. This position requires
cross-functional collaboration and technology sharing both
regionally and globally.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to Flow 5 Tool and Controls
Implement continuous improvements in tool quality, cost and
Share technology with molding teams globally.
Control new tool estimating, design and build for localization
and new business ventures.
Revise and improve current tools to reduce waste and improve
Meet business case and flawless launch objectives on cost,
timing and quality.
Manage equipment and tool quotes, risk assessments, funding,
purchase orders, spending forecasting and capitalization.
Administer timely employee assessments, pay increases and
promotions, employee development, progression and succession,
Adhere to all Aptiv Corporate, Signal & Power Solutions,
Connection Systems and local procedures.
Able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.
Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering.
Personable and comfortable supervising salaried engineers and
working directly with manufacturing staff and personnel in a union
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and Siemens NX or similar
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word,
Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.).
Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
Resourcefully innovative and adapts in a rapidly changing
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong
ability to work with a team.

technologies that serve as the nervous system of the vehicle,
including the complete design, manufacture and assembly of the
vehicle's connection systems.
This business unit's products include a vast array of connection
systems technologies for the vehicle, including: Housings,
Terminals, MePa/Pin-headers, High Voltage Chargers and
Interconnects, SRS, High Speed Data solutions, On-Glass
connections, Electrical Centers, Media Modules and Wireless
