The Sr Manager is responsible for both Connected Planning and Financial Governance efforts under the CTO org supporting efforts that don't only affect the CTO but also the rest of VMG. The Sr manager will help manage a team of contractors and FTEs to help implement our strategy and will ensure the right level of governance.

  • Lead and manage a small team of contractors and FTEs that will help the org identify and anticipate risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation/maximization of our strategic plans.

  • Lead and participate in multiple initiatives to build operational efficiency, company culture, and business processes

  • Support and be an example of high-performing team behaviors, including transparency, collaboration, shared accountability, and integrity.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in performing current state documentation, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation across the organizational process improvements.

  • Help develop multi year cost reduction initiatives and help track/report and implement them

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the organization for connected planning efforts

  • Help implement and communicate the strategy and roadmap to leaders, stakeholders, CoSs customers, and future users of our tools and processes.

  • Work closely with functional business leaders and subject matter experts to facilitate accurate financial modeling and what if scenarios for the Tech strategies, manage project tracking and spend, support complex deals, and assign cost frameworks for strategic investments

  • Proactively and continually work with stakeholders and customers to gain a full understanding of the business and financial implications of the decisions they want to make as they relate to the bigger tech strategy

  • Lead discovery sessions to drive process improvement

  • Represents the Office of the CTO team as key liaison in coordinating with other internal planning functions

  • Lead short-term deep dives and cross-functional project teams to structure and execute analyses needed to develop recommendations

  • Design and execute on CTO financial and insights processes and find gaps and help address them, design optimal workflows, and align internal processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience

  • 4+ years of direct people management experience

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to juggle, prioritize and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment

  • Track record of operating independently, being detail-oriented, demonstrating strategic thinking about trade-offs, setting clear expectations, and delivering results in that meet established goals
