CGI is part of a team to deliver content services solutions using
DevSecOps teams at US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
We have built, maintained and enhanced these solutions over the
years and our experienced team is repeatedly called upon to address
the latest challenges.
To support our growth, our team needs an additional DevSecOps
Engineer. We are a full Amazon Web Services (AWS) operation with
fully automated pipelines serving custom services and third party
applications. We are constantly looking for ways to take advantage
of the latest technology as we expand our capabilities and increase
our teams' flexibility.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Build CI/CD pipelines for microservices, applications and
• Work to build standard CI/CD approaches across the supported
teams and application portfolio.
• Optimize system availability to minimize costs to USCIS while
supporting all required teams.
• Manage security requirements, including patching, to maintain
existing security authorization.
• Analyze system logs to perform root-cause analysis of performance
or infrastructure issues.
• Attend daily stand-ups, backlog grooming and other agile
• Work with teams to effectively design, build, and deliver
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or
clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
• 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field
focusing on development projects using DevSecOps, DevOps and
• Expert skills in Jenkins, GitHub and Linux administration.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Extensive experience building pipelines for AWS applications.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working with USCIS architecture, engineering and other
